Can you sue for an infection received from a bowling shoe.?

A member of my family got a shoe bite from a bowling shoe.

It has gotten infected.

They are currently hospitalized and will be staying for a minimum of 2 days and 2 nights.

Is the bowling company responsible?

Do we have a case to sue them?

Can you sue for an infection received from a bowling shoe.?
I don't know what a "shoe bite" is, but it is in your best interests to consult with a personal injury attorney. They generally will handle you case on a contingency fee basis, meaning you don't pay them unless they recover money for you.

Your main problem will be proving that whatever injury your family member is claiming was caused by the bowling shoe. It isn't enough that you are "sure" that was the cause---you must have medical evidence to back it up.
Reply:Probably the bowling alley has a disclaimer that you sign anyway, I'm guessing or it may be posted
Reply:It`s gonna be difficult, because even if you got this infection throught the bowling shoe, there`s no way you can prove it, you don't have this shoe in your possesion and the only way is getting this shoe and you need aproval from the bowlin alley to get in possesion of this....
Reply:NO! But feel free to try. Proving it will be more expensive than ANY benefit but like I said feel free.
Reply:IF you can PROVE it was from the bowling shoe....
Reply:Did your relative clean out the "shoe bite" when they got home? If yes, then it wasn't the shoe bite that caused the infection, it was caused by bacteria getting in there afterwards. If she didn't then she was negligent.

The shoes must have been cutting into her heel for a while to cause a shoe bite. The jury will want to know why she didn't go get another set.
Reply:Yes, you can sue for anything. That doesn't mean you'll win the case though.
